• Gather reporting requirements from the requestor and share report options with the requestor
• Create mock-up reports for review
• Prepare time estimates for all reports developed
• Supporting, modifying, and maintaining reports that are currently in production
• Responding expediently for requests to create, modify, or fix reports
• Performance monitoring and tuning for SQL Server databases (with a focus on CDS)
• Installation, configuration, upgrade, and migration of SQL Server databases
• Developing, implementing, and testing backup and recovery plans for SQL Server databases
• Storage and Capacity Planning  – monitoring disk space and growth trends

Requirements:

• Have an exceptional reporting back ground and more than 3 years of experience working in a reporting capacity.
• 3+ SQL Server DBA experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills and can work well within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in U.S. for any employer without sponsorship.

Requirements

• Experience in programming and experience in a healthcare related field or healthcare environment (programming skills required with MUMPS/Cache).
• Experience writing RPMS.
• Experience with RPC Calls / Broker
• Knowledge of information processing areas in a hospital or health clinic including areas such as: medical records, billing, patient registration, reporting, pharmacy, lab, radiology, etc.
• Experience preferred in a healthcare environment with knowledge of processes, terminology, and issues.
• Must be able to learn new software and be self-motivated, with strong effective oral and written communication skills.

MUMPS/ Cache Developer works independently as a team member in providing programming services to meet program specifications for Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS) applications and peripheral programs such as interfaces in support of interoperability. Defines database requirements for information systems that may cut across various medical and administrative systems. Reviews programming specifications to ensure they meet RPMS design and interface requirements, and that they are responsive to information system requirements. Recommends changes and additions as appropriate. Identifies ramifications of RPMS changes/development to national data repositories. Ensures that application development integrates with other applicable systems when interfacing issues are known. Will write programs in MUMPS/Cache in full conformance with RPMS design and programming standards.
