- Develop an understanding of competitive best practices-benchmark internal and external- then leverage the knowledge within the company
- Uses the global platform to create and sustain a competitive advantage by providing “world class” customer service and support.
- Ensures that technologies and processes are deployed so that best practices and processes are followed in the global business.
- Provides direction to the heads of manufacturing and assembly operations at all manufacturing and assembly sites for the business unit
Requirements
- 4 year degree. Master’s degree preferred
- 15 years related experience
- A strong business orientation and a proven ability to partner with colleagues in diverse regions, divisions, and functions.
- Understands the operational, financial, and strategic dimensions of the business.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills that facilitate communications at all levels of the organization
- Strong leader with excellent people management skills
- International experience, including overseas travel and work with complex, global organizations is desirable
