Electrical Design Engineer

Do you want to join a company that is exploding in a slow economy?  Do you want get rid of all the red tape in your company?  Due to company growth, a need for increased engineering capacity has prompted our client to seek an Electrical Design Engineer to be responsible for development and design of new products and applicable maintenance of current designs.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Electrical hardware design of new products
• Creating schematics and using circuit design software to produce printed circuit boards
• Research of new components, technologies, and methods to incorporate into new designs
• Prototyping and execution of test programs to verify compliance to all applicable performance, regulatory, and quality requirements
• Coordinate with other functional teams during the life cycle of the product and be responsible for design modifications as required  

 Required Skills

• B.S. Electrical Engineering 
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Experience and firm understanding of lithium battery pack
• Schematic capture and PCB layout software experience required (PADS preferred)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
