Talented and motivated Civil Engineer is needed for a consulting firm that provides a variety of architectural and engineering services from early planning studies to complete A/E design. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for:
- Building their staff and being in charge of it
- Report to a principal in charge only using them for a guide
- Highway and traffic design in Illinois
- Business Development. Generate work and build strong client relationships
- Project Management

Required Skills
- BSCE
- Illinois license plus the PTOE (Professional Traffic Operations Engineer) designation
- At least 5 years Civil Engineering experience
- At least 5 years working on IDOT contracts
- Experience managing projects and leading others
- Strong technical ability with design software
- Proven leader
- Understand finances
- Ability to make decisions
- Good negotiator
- Tolerate stress well
- Technical knowledge (micro station & Geopac)
