Sr. Project Engineer

Our client is seeking an articulate candidate who is developing leadership skills and desires to lead a team in the design and introduction of new products and improvements to exiting equipment.
Responsibilities
- Lead a design team
- Organize and be in charge of team meetings for the purpose of developing new and improved products
- Develop new project plans while tracking progress
- Participate in the development of written sales materials
- Write detailed status reports
Requirement
- B.S. Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience in design engineering and 3 years in the design of gas-fired residential furnace equipment
- Extensive knowledge of industry safety standards
- Experience with products development including knowledge of lifecycle of product development
- Continuous improvement experience i.e. Six Sigma
- Basic knowledge of material principles and ERP system principles
- Superior Project Management skills preferred
