Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Conceive new products and take all the way through production
  • Develop mechanical components
  • Develop subsystems
  • Be adept at developing at low cost
  • Validate through analysis and testing as well as design test fixtures and special instrumentation where needed

Required Skills

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years machine design experience
  • Proactive with beyond average creativity
  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication
  • Machine design experience
  • Component part design using castings, molded plastic and extrusions
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Electro-mechanical system integration
